Cannoli are Italian pastries consisting of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a mild sweet creamy filling containing mascarpone cheese and cream cheese, raspberry compote as a core filling, and coated with dehydrated real raspberry crisp. It's a staple dessert of Sicilian cuisine. They are commonly known as cannoli siciliani.
